At Gleaners, we share your passion for feeding our hungry neighbors. In Southeast Michigan, 1 in 7 people including 1 in 5 children are facing food insecurity. With the rising cost of food, housing, and other basic needs, it’s easy to see why families in our community are struggling to put food on the table. But together, we can help.
Now through Giving Tuesday (November 29, 2022), all gifts to Gleaners will be generously matched by the Toni A. Wisne Foundation, up to $100,000! That means your donation will go 2X as far. Every $1 donated provides 6 wholesome meals in our community.
Our neighbors know they can count on nutritious food from Gleaners including fresh milk and produce to help make ends meet. Gleaners continues to deliver food by the truckload through dozens of community mobiles, and through our expansive network of more than 600 partners, including soup kitchens, food pantries, schools, shelters, and more. Last year, donors like you empowered families and enabled Gleaners to distribute more than 47 million pounds of food in our community.
