Make A Difference Through the Legacy of Harold and Kay
Born at the start of the Great Depression, our beloved Harold and Kay grew up in a time of uncertainty, watching neighbors go hungry due to circumstances beyond their control. Today, households are facing similar struggles as they grapple with the effects of inflation.
“The cost of groceries has tripled. I’ve had to adjust my way of living,” said Theresa, a senior who visits Gleaners’ mobile food distributions to make ends meet. “I never thought I’d get to the point where I’d have to make a decision between taking medication or buying groceries. I shouldn’t have to make that choice.”

That’s why they worked with Gleaners to establish a matching gift fund, leaving behind a legacy of a more food-secure community.
